Type: General picture of a charred wooden line.

Site: Raisio, Ihala, Mulli abode.

Period: Viking Age / Crusade Age / Early Middle Ages.

Dating: 980-1220 A.D.

Photographer: Taina Pietikäinen.

Direction of photography: From northwest

 

In the picture there is the charred eastern wall-line of the long log house. On the left there can be seen the covered drain which was situated between the buildings, now excavated almost to the bottom. In the bottom clay of the drain and beside the drain some small post-holes are visible.
