Briitta,
childrens' hospital Helsinki,
activity center:
Since ill children have their
right of privacy we cannot show any pictures of the situation
today. Helsinki hospital however offers the activity center, a playground
for hospitalized
children. Through roleplays the child recieves the chance to express fear
and anger as well
as other feelings. This method supports very well the recovery of ill children.
Our interviewpartner Briitta was very much capable of describing the childs
point of view as well as hers being a pedagoge.
