May 8th, 2013Hi all our new MA students and exchanges, please note that Media Lab moving to Otaniemi, Miestentie 3, Espoo, is confirmed now. We will move during this summer. So when you’re looking for housing, note that a lot of your studies will happen in Otaniemi, also some of them in Arabia.

SOPI projects in Shenzhen International Cultural Industrial Fair 2013
April 22nd, 2013SOPI research group from Media Lab and the Department of Media, has been invited to present the sound art projects, “AHNE & Tension”, and an interactive dance performance “Raja”, at the “Design Can Change!” exhibition in Shenzhen, China. This exhibition will be hold from 12th May to 16th Jun 2013 and it is one part of Shenzhen International Cultural Industrial Fair 2013 supported by Shenzhen OCT and New Media Lab Shenzhen, Design and Art school, Hunan University.

Hacking and creating stuff to help Siivouspäivä (Cleaning day)
March 1st, 2013Students of the New Media for the Third Sector are organizing a Hackathon for the Cleaning day. We are inviting all people interested to contribute. Aalto students can apply for 2 cp, but please remember: in order to get credits students from outside of ARTS must have the study right, which you get using Aalto internal mobility JOOPAS. Also the official registration happens in Weboodi, the code is 25448. But if you just want to have fun with gyus and no credits, then skip the JOOPAS and Oodi.
