1. KOKOUKSEN PÄÄTÖSVALTAISUUS
Puheenjohtaja totesi kokouksen päätösvaltaiseksi.
2. EDELLISEN KOKOUKSEN PÖYTÄKIRJA
Tarkastettiin kokouksen 24.5.2006 pöytäkirja. Lisätään kohtaan 8 aikamäärä "vuoden 2008 loppuun asti". Ei muuta korjattavaa.

Rehtorin uusin tiedote Mlabin budjetista 24.5.2006.
4. DIAZIN OPETUSNÄYTTEESTÄ LUOPUMINEN (PD)
'The evaluation statements relating to the applications for a Professorship in Design for Systems of Representation and Digital Cultural Heritage have been received from Prof. Larry Friedlander and Prof. Ken Friedman. We note that in the evaluations that Prof. Friedman recommends Lily Diaz-Kommonen for the post and finds the other 2 candidates non-suitable and lacking some key requirements for the post. Prof. Friedlander also finds Lily Diaz-Kommonen qualified and suitable for the post but finds the other two candidates seriously lacking in respect of several expected experience and know-how requirements for the post. Taking these evaluations into account and also the fact that this process has already been in motion for a very long time, the Media Lab makes the following proposal which is in accordance with the possibilities offered by the Professorin Viran Täyttöohje (13.1.1999) and current rules and regulations (johtosääntö).
Esitys: Taking into account the evaluations of Prof. Ken Friedman and Prof. Larry Friedlander in respect of the applicants for the position of Professorship in Design for Systems of Representation and Digital Cultural Heritage within the Media Lab UIAH the Media Lab proposes that no opetusnäyte be arranged as part of the appointment process. In making this proposal the Media Lab also concludes that the recommended candidate for the post, v.t. Prof. Lily Diaz-Kommonen has been responsible for planning, coordination and provision of education in the Media Lab at MA and DA level for several years and that the results of this education, as well as the annual student feedback on her courses, have been extremely favorable'.

5. MUUT ASIAT
6. ILMOITUSASIAT Antti I. muistuttaa ensi viikolla meillä alkavasta ASEF-työpajasta. Antti-sivari siirtyy päivystämään 4. kerrokseen. koko 4. varattu ASEFille. Syksyllä tulokset esitellään ASEM-summitissa.
