After a long break in updating these pages, we noticed that the old version of the game didn't work in new Windows operating systems. Now the downloadable file works again. Enjoy!

30.8.2006 SNOWMAN IN LINZ
It's Ars Electronica time! The "Beta Lounge" exhibition is open 31.8.-5.9. every day from 10:00 to 19:00, featuring Snowman in Hell among other projects from UIAH Media Lab. We warmly welcome everyone to come and play in Kunstuniversität Linz, located right at the Linz main square. For more information, check out the Ars Electronica website and the exhibition blog.

We are glad to announce that the curating team at UIAH Media Lab has selected Snowman in Hell to be exhibited at Ars Electronica Campus Exhibition in Linz, Austria, from 31.8. to 5.9.2006.

THE GAME

Hell is no place for a snowman - but some days are worse than others. You start a desperate journey through the perils of evil and treachery. Listening to the voice of a murdered man inside your head, you begin to realize that your fortune is bound to the souls burning in the eternal flames.

Snowman in Hell is a game of both hectic platform action and sophisticated puzzles. It's also an epic horror story about a snowman with nothing to lose, inspired by Dante's Inferno.

Snowman in Hell features unexpected style combinations, graphics & animation made of clay and garbage, para-realistic simulation of physics, and a delicately grotesque soundscape, creating an intellectual, yet
brutal gaming experience for people with no sense of humour.
