"I am a video and installation artist teaching history and theory of the avantgarde film, video art and video installation art. My idea in Clip-kino is to follow some themes on animation in the avantgarde film tradition. In the digital realm of moving images the poor quality of the compressed picture has been the obvious obstacle preventing many works to be seen with all their splendour – and seems that it still is. In the case of film, the works should be seen in their original film form or in the best quality museum/gallery conditions, so I encourage you all to go to the film archives to see films as film and to the good, responsible museums/galleries to see video works art at their best, folks!"
